Stands
Stands is a unique eCommerce platform that partners with creators and communities to sell fandom-inspired merchandise—from apparel to collectibles—with a mission to celebrate causes and communities through limited-edition products. Despite a strong concept and passionate fanbases, tight margins and ad restrictions made it difficult to scale through traditional paid channels.
(OUR APPROACAH)
We developed a monthly creative and marketing strategy centered around community-first product launches. By leveraging creator relationships, fan enthusiasm, and a white-labeling approach, we were able to launch new collections that sold out quickly without relying heavily on traditional paid media.
(PROJECT VISION)
The vision was to turn every fandom drop into a moment—fueling sales through community energy and strategic timing, rather than brute-force ad spend. We wanted to help Stands shift from ad-dependent to fan-driven, all while keeping CAC low and margins healthy.
(CHALLENGES)
Stands was working within tight cost structures and platform restrictions that made scaling with Facebook and Instagram ads nearly impossible. Every dollar had to stretch, and product launches had to hit. They needed a smarter strategy that maximized their strengths: niche fandoms, strong creator partnerships, and community loyalty.
(PROBLEMS)
We built a rolling launch calendar supported by monthly content and campaign strategies, tapping into fan energy and using social proof, creator amplification, and scarcity to drive urgency. By aligning each campaign with the unique voice of the fandom and avoiding paid media pitfalls, we created a repeatable system that delivered results without heavy spend.
(RESULTS)
In just 30 days, we generated over $200K in sales with only $5K in ad spend. The strategy proved that fandom-focused marketing—with the right creative and launch timing—could deliver massive results while protecting margins and bypassing platform restrictions.
